LES Meeting Mar. 27- Heather Teodoro

The Lorquin Entomological Society will have its April meeting this Friday April 27, 2012. The speaker will be Heather Teodoro of the Los Angeles County Vector Control District. She will give a presentation on the current information regarding mosquitoes, West Nile Virus, ticks, and bees.She will also be talking about the district's programs and services. 
Heather Teodoro has a Bachelors in Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and has been employed with the Los Angeles County West Vector Control District for over 10 years. She currently serves as the Public Education Specialist for the district where she enjoys teaching residents about bees, ticks, and mosquitoes.
While at UC Berkeley, Heather's early fascination with bugs reawakened after taking a medical entomology course. Her interest in public health led her to work at the Los Angeles County West Vector Control District where she gained experience. 

Doors open at 7:00PM meeting starts at 8:00PM
